The rich relationship between Polynesia and the sea, has shaped their lives, culture, and even their navigation skills. They travelled thousands of miles across the open ocean, discovering new lands and establishing a network of connected islands.

Relying solely on their knowledge of celestial bodies, ocean currents, and bird behaviour to navigate the vast Pacific.

They are true sailors and the inspiration behind many of our unique sail tribe designs. Each element of the design has a special meaning, linking the imagery with sailors ... the sail tribe.
